January 26 Action Alert
At Wednesday’s Community Safety Advocacy Day, we will be talking to legislators about state funding for community violence intervention efforts in Georgia, and advocating for HB 291, the Community Health Worker Certification Bill, which was passed by the House last year and was recommitted to the Senate Health and Human Services Committee this year. Please call both the Chair and Vice-Chair, and email the entire committee to ask that HB 291 receive a hearing and a vote.
