Our Story

Georgia Majority for Gun Safety (GMGS) is a broad, diverse coalition committed to advancing proven, effective legislation that reduces rates of gun violence while preserving Second Amendment rights in Georgia. We are a non-partisan alliance of organizations, houses of worship, and individuals who represent the majority of Georgians who believe we must do more to promote responsible gun ownership and protect our communities from the epidemic of gun violence. Our members include emergency room physicians, pediatricians, psychologists, educators, faith leaders, community advocates, parents, including many gun owners.
