As a candidate for elected office in the state of Georgia, I pledge that if I am elected, I will support gun safety legislation in Georgia, specifically the following:
 

• Secure storage laws, including specific protections for children

• Ensure that all gun purchases and transfers are subject to background checks

• Create mechanisms to identify and prevent firearm purchases by individuals who are at risk for illegal or violent activities with guns, including domestic abuse and self-harm

• Increase funding for hospital and community based violence intervention initiatives
